bringing collaboration to education
The Education Learning Centre for Coquitlam School District was designed to replace the existing School Board office and combine the many programs and departments together onto one site. There was growing need within the District to provide more spaces for meetings, including School Board meetings for ongoing collaboration between the School District and the Public. The building is a mixture of office spaces and meeting rooms with an International Education component. The use of large glazing walls and the DIRTT office partition system allows for a flexible open design concept bringing outdoor natural light into most interior spaces. The facility will serve as the headquarters for all new School District development, ongoing Information Services and Education throughout the expanding School District.
